Havskuren Wellness
Kusthotellet Styrsö is part of a long and rich tradition dating back to the late 19th century, when the island became known as one of Sweden’s first spa resorts. In 1893, Styrsö Havsbad was inaugurated, and the island quickly became a popular destination for health-conscious travelers.
This tradition of recovery and well-being lives on at Kusthotellet, where our wellness area, Havskuren, offers a peaceful space to unwind and recharge – right by the sea. Welcome to relax, recover, and just be – right by the sea.
The Salt Source & The Heat Source
Havskuren consists of two areas: The Salt Source and The Heat Source.
In the Salt Source, you can enjoy foot baths, facial treatments, and comfortable rest areas with sea views. Unique elements enhance the relaxing atmosphere and help you stay present in the moment.
In the Heat Source, you’ll find saunas, steam bath, and the opportunity for cold bath – a combination that creates a soothing contrast between warmth and cold, promoting recovery.
Whether you’re a hotel guest or visiting for the day, changing rooms are available to ensure your comfort during your visit.
For those who wish to take their wellness experience a step further, we offer a range of treatments focused on relaxation, recovery, and well-being. Our experienced therapists tailor each treatment to suit your needs and preferences.
More information about our available treatments will be published soon.

Gym
For those who want to work out, there is a small but well-equipped gym featuring a treadmill, cross trainer, and rowing machine – perfect for cardio training.
You’ll also find resistance bands, kettlebells, and free weights for strength and mobility training.

Long Walks or Bike Rides
The tranquil nature of Styrsö offers you the opportunity to continue your recovery outdoors – at your own pace. There are plenty of hiking trails, charming paths, and seaside roads that are ideal for peaceful walks or invigorating bike rides.
We offer bike rentals for guests who wish to explore the island on two wheels, and at the reception, you’ll find maps of some of the most scenic routes to discover on foot.
Welcome to enjoy the nature around us.
