Ferry from Saltholmen
To reach Styrsö, take the Styrsöbolaget ferry from Saltholmen ferry terminal in Långedrag. On Styrsö, there are two stops to choose from: Styrsö Bratten and Styrsö Skäret. Kusthotellet is just a short walk from the Styrsö Skäret stop.

The ferry is part of Västtrafik Zone A. You can buy tickets onboard or via Västtrafik’s app ToGo.

Public Transport from Gothenburg City Center to Saltholmen

• Bus from Gothenburg City-Brunnsparken via Stenpiren
  Bus 114 goes from Brunnsparken via Stenpiren to Saltholmen ferry terminal. The journey takes approximately 24 minutes.
• Tram from Gothenburg Central Station
  Also, Tram 11 towards Saltholmen goes all the way from Gothenburg Central Station to Saltholmen ferry terminal. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Arranged Pickup for Larger Groups

For larger groups, we offer—upon request—arranged boat pickups from Stenpiren, Fiskebäck, Önnered, Klippan, or GKSS. This service is available for a fee and must be booked well in advance.

Arriving with Your Own Boat

If you prefer to arrive with your own boat, that’s also possible. We have 8 berths for small boats (maximum draft 1.5 meters) available for daytime visits or overnight stays. Larger boats are advised to dock at Styrsö Bratten or Donsö Harbour. Our spots will be marked with “Kusthotellet Styrsö.”
